I am glad that you got to see this bird, Guillermo. Throughout much of its range it is a very common species. Whenever I visit the regions of Europe where it occurs I look forward to seeing it. Often, it is viewed easily at bird feeders. I last encountered it in England in October, 2025. For an excellent treatment of this species see “The Blue Tit,” Martyn Stenning, T a& A D Poyser (2018). Buen fin de semana. Un abrazo - David
ResponderEliminarThat bird is really cute. There are plenty of these birds here in Finland.
ResponderEliminarI was taken by surprise to see you say the Blue Tit is uncommon in your area in Spain Guillermo.

Hello Guillermo, and to think that these birds are with so manny in our region. Good to hang nestboxes to help them to nestingplaces.

Thank you for your comment, Roos. You are right it is a very common European bird but not in my area, sadly.
EliminarFor once, a garden bird more common in my part of the world than in yours!
ResponderEliminarGreetings from Scotland!
I know, right! Although I think it is actually starting to become more common in our neck of the woods. Greetings from Spain!
